Georgetown Chapter Raises $12,000 for Cancer Research in BellRinger Ride

Members of the Washington City Eta Sigma chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon pedaled 25 miles on Saturday, Oct. 24, in BellRinger 2026 and raised $12,000 for cancer research at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

BellRinger is a bike ride and community movement to end cancer. Riders start from Georgetown’s McDonough Gymnasium, and every rider commits to fundraising through their own network. All of the money raised goes directly to Lombardi’s cancer research.

The chapter’s brothers spent the weeks before the ride gathering donations from family and friends.

The chapter thanks everyone who donated and cheered along the route, and plans to ride again next fall.
