Chapter Services Consultants serve as the primary contact for groups, members, volunteers, and host institutions within a geographic district.
Chapter Services Consultants coach groups, members, and volunteers on best practices of chapter operations, education, scholarship, leadership, service, character development, and healthy social practices – which are congruent with the Mission and Vision of the Fraternity.
Chapter Services Consultant Information
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists in implementing the strategic goals of the Fraternity, with a specific focus on recruitment/retention, member education, health/safety, leadership, scholarship, and service
- Works with the Education Team, groups, members, and volunteers to implement the Phoenix Member Education Program and other educational programs and services
- Works with the Risk Management Team to effectively move groups through redevelopment and accountability process
- Works with the Alumni Engagement Team to recruit volunteers to support groups
- Visits each group as required to ensure organizational and operational excellence
- Communicate regularly with volunteers, including advisors, house corporations, and province councils within the assigned district
- Serves as the primary contact for the development and maintenance of a relationship necessary for the continued partnership with host institutions
- Provides analytical support to supervisor and senior leaders through the generation of timely and credible reports on the status of each group
- Assumes other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Membership in Sigma Alpha Epsilon
- Baccalaureate degree required
- Strong oral, written, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel ● Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends occasionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-term goals
Location
- The position is based remotely within driving distance of a major airport, but you must live in the geographic region that you are hired to support
- North East Region: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine
- Mid-Atlantic Region: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, or West Virginia

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The final compensation offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s depth of relevant experience, technical skill set, demonstrated expertise, and overall fit for the role.
