Finance & Housing Fall Intern Information
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists the Department in terms of accounting, finance, and ensuring compliance of Chapter Members & Tenants
- Accounts Payable Vendor Verification / Compliance & Entry
- Accounts Receivable Compliance / Enrollment for all Greek Housing Management Clients & Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity
- General Accounting Journal Entries & Bank Reconciliation
- Assists with documentation maintenance
- Historical Documentation Retention & Filing
- GAAP Retention standardization
- Assists in the update of Member information in the Property Management Platform
- Database Management across multiple platforms
- Assists in the internal collections process and notifying delinquent Members
- Continual Contractual compliance & Verification amongst all organizations & stakeholders
- Customer Service
- Phone Calls & Emails
- Mass Communications
- Organize Mass Communications to relative stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned

- Special Projects within Levere Memorial Temple

Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite
- Is self-motivated, organized, and able to work with a team
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with policy creation and writing
- Is dependable, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50lbs comfortably
- Expected to work out of the Fraternity Service Center in Evanston, IL
- Membership in Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity preferred, but not required
