Georgia Beta speaks out on drug awareness event

Georgia Beta was front and center at a mandatory new fraternity member meeting for all freshmen at the University of Georgia this past Monday.

There was a section on drug awareness, and Chase Nalley (Eminent Archon) and Joe Hilsman (Chapter Wellness) presented the “Take the Pledge” presentation on the dangers of fentanyl and drugs in general.

Over 900 in attendance, along with UGA President Jere Morehead and Erik Atkinson (Dean of Students) as part of the program. 

Georgia’s Attorney General Chris Carr participated as part of Chase and Joe’s presentation via video. Purple “Take the Pledge” wrist bands were handed to all.
