This year marks the 36th Annual SAE World Series softball tournament, hosted by the New Orleans SAE Alumni Association. Come experience brotherhood, softball, warm weather, and the joys of summertime in New Orleans.
The double-elimination tournament is open to all SAE members, with each team playing at least twice. Play begins Friday night and all games will be officiated by professional umpires. A post-tournament reception will be held in downtown New Orleans, where the top three teams will be recognized, as well as Most Improved Team, Best Dressed Team, the SAE Spirit Award, and Furthest Distance Travelled, and MVP. At least 20 teams from across the Realm are expected to compete for the title of Eminent Supreme Champions.
The entry fee is $200 per team before June 1st, $250 per team after June 1st. Details on registration and lodging are available at https://www.saeworldseries.net/.
The 2021 SAE World Series will adhere to COVID-19 safety precautions, including social distancing and face coverings throughout the event.
