Fraternity Recognition Awards
Recognition of achievement and dedication to the Fraternity is important. Members and chapters that have distinguished themselves on various levels of the Fraternity or within their professions bring honor not only to themselves but also to Sigma Alpha Epsilon. The Fraternity realizes the value in acknowledging exceptional service and that the presentation of an award of recognition is also a primary way to show our appreciation.
Recognition Award Nomination
Please Note: To be nominated for and subsequently receive an alumni recognition award, the honoree must have previously won the award that precedes it in the recognition chain. For example, to be eligible for the Shield of Brotherhood, an alumnus must first have received the Order of Minerva award. If you have any questions regarding which awards an alumnus has received or need clarification on our Alumni Recognition Awards process, please contact Alumni Services, alumni@sae.net or (847) 475-1856 ext. 7.
Men of Minerva
Throughout our storied history, many SAE brothers have gone on to influential and notable careers. SAE celebrates the success of our brothers and their continued dedication to our Fraternity with awards. We also recognize and celebrate the success of our famous Alumni, dubbed “Men of Minerva”.
Distinguished Service Award Recipients
The Distinguished Service Award stands as the highest individual honor that can be bestowed upon a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. It recognizes brothers whose lives reflect a deep commitment to the Fraternity’s teachings, faithful adherence to its laws, and a lasting dedication to advancing its welfare and reputation.
