EVANSTON, IL – Sigma Alpha Epsilon has announced a few staffing changes for the Regional Director program that will take effect beginning July 1, 2012. Deran Abernathy, who serves as the Associate Executive Director of Alumni and Chapter Services, will vacate his Regional Director position for the Dennis Region and supervise the field-staff team. This change will allow him to focus on managing the Regional Directors and Coordinators of Extension while enhancing both alumni and operational support throughout the Realm.

Abernathy will transition the position of Regional Director for the Dennis Region to Jeff Hall, who will vacate the Kerr Region. Hall will also take over the role of Director of Extension, supervising the extension team in support of the Fraternity’s expansion efforts.

As part of the change, Sigma Alpha Epsilon will announce a job posting separately for the Kerr Regional Director and seek applicants immediately to provide a smooth, seamless transition during the summer months.
