Foundation

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation.  Since it was established in 1927, the Foundation has been supporting the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity's educational initiatives and the maintenance of the Levere Memorial Temple.

Thank you to all of our contributing members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon who, through their lifetime loyalty and continued financial assistance, help the Foundation to prepare, provide and preserve.

Please pardon our dust...

As improvements are made to renovate the Temple and preserve its artifacts for generations to come. Major projects include an updated HVAC in the Peace Chapel, an ADA lift, an electrical-system upgrade and new flooring in the Panhellenic Room. In addition, the Tiffany windows in the Peace Chapel will receive a new protective coating, and the Joseph W. Walt Library will be combined with the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Museum. The space currently occupied by the museum will be transformed into a state-of-the-art conference center. Preparations for construction will begin this month, with the majority of work taking place this spring, summer and fall.  During construction and the redevelopment of the library and museum, much of the artwork, artifacts and other materials will be stored for their safety. Check back here for progress on the renovations, and join us at the 157th Anniversary Convention in June 2013 right here in Chicago for the official unveiling.
