Coordinator of Expansion
Aaron Birney graduated with honors from the University of Toledo with an individualized program degree focused on business strategy, marketing and entrepreneurship. During his collegiate tenure, he served as the Brotherhood Chairman, Recruitment Chairman, New Member Educator and Eminent Archon. On the national level, he sat on the Undergraduate Advisory Committee and attended Inner Circle. Birney also graduated from the John O. Moseley Leadership School, served as an ambassador for the 77th school and served as Archam for the 78th school. In 2014, Sigma Alpha Epsilon awarded him the Bradley M. Cohen Eminent Archon of the Year Scholarship Award. Outside of his chapter, Birney served as the Overall Director of RockeTHON: UT’s Dance Marathon and as Vice President of the Interfraternity Council.
Upon graduation, he and fellow chapter brother Danny Woodcock started a web marketing company and, subsequently, were recruited to join a start-up company out of the LaunchPad Incubation Program at the university. Birney then worked for his family business, Arista Home Care Solutions.
In his community, he sits on the Executive Council of the United Way Emerging Leaders serves as a committee member of EPIC Toledo and as President of the RockeTHON Alumni Board. He also is an avid Minnesota sports fan.
