The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation raises funds to support the educational initiatives of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and the maintenance of the Levere Memorial Temple. These initiatives include: The Levere Memorial Temple The Temple is not only the home of the Fraternity Service Center, but also is a memorial to all SAEs who have lost their lives in war. The Temple is an architectural treasure and contains a specially-designed collection of Tiffany stained glass. The Temple also houses Sigma Alpha Epsilon's archives and collections. John O. Moseley Leadership School Since 1935 funds have been raised each year to support this unique leadership development program for Fraternity members. National Scholarships In 2009 the SAE Foundation distributed $65,000 in scholarships to over 45 recipients. Temple Endowed Funds The Levere Memorial Temple is a treasure of the Greek letter world, but it's upkeep is expensive. Endowed funds have been established to help with major repairs and renovations to the Temple. Student Loans The SAE Foundation has established funds for student loans to assist members funding their educations. Chapter Education Funds Chapter Education Funds (CEFs) allow individual chapters to offer scholarships to members or fund other wholly educational projects. Chapter Allocation Funds Chaper Allocation Funds (CAFs) allow tax deductable gifts for use in the renovation and/or construction of chapter houses.
